The value of a decibel meter or sound meter(dB meter) is not as precise as an actual Sound Pressure Level Meter(SPL Meter), soundmeter, decibel meter or noise level meter, this is due to most device's microphones being aligned to the human voice.

Notes
Microphones in most android devices are aligned to the human voice. The maximum values are limited by the device. Very loud sounds(over ~90 dB) may not be recognized in the most devices. So please use it as just an additional tool. If you need more accurate dB values, we recommend an actual sound level meter for that.
